Yamdrok Yamtso Lake
“Abandoned” is the title of this week’s Photo Challenge. During my trip through Tibet, which I did in August 2010, we travelled through several abandoned areas. One of them stretches around the Yamdrok Tso Lake which we passed on the way from Lhasa to Gyantse on our drive over the Khamba La Pass and the Karo La Pass.
An abandoned tent in front of Mount Everest on the tibetan side was another abandoned scenery I encountered on that trip.
