This week’s Photo Challenge asks its participants to capture an image that tells a full story in a single frame. In August 2010 I have been to a place called Sakya in Tibet. After visiting the Sakya monastery we have encoutered a big group of local tibetan people who were celebrating a feast in the fields. They invited us to join them.
Lovely pictures. These photos remind me of my trip to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. Although the people were so poor there, they never stopped smiling to me! Wonderful feeling!
Thank you so much for your comment, Agness. I loved Lhasa, too. I am so glad we had enough time to explore the major sights of the city plus for a daytrip to Lake Namtso (Nam Co). We also had an exceptional local tibetan guide who gave us a fantastic insight into Tibet and its culture. Definitely an experience of a lifetime!
